The reason why I decided to start posting politics on this web site is because of the attack on the right to silence all voices that don't follow the left party line view. Elijah Schaffer provided an update on the current laws and enforcement taking place in Washington DC. Unfortunately it appears that the nation will be divided down the middle into two groups. Because of no more than 1,000 people who invaded the capital, anybody with non left views will be punished and treated as second class citizens.
The reason this is so disturbing is because the enforcement is one sided. The event on January 6, made the entire conservative movement is suspect. Meanwhile Antifa and BLM who have been committing acts of terrorism for months will remain untouched. I will agree that the January 6 activity was wrong and some people need to be punished for their activity, but so should the people who have been destroying property and burning down cities all summer.
In a strange way, it's somewhat comforting. Why do they fear the right so much? The best example out of history is Jesus. He wasn't a ruler. He encouraged people to follow the law and not take matters into their own hands. He had little more than the clothes on his back. Why could somebody be feared so much he needed to be executed? It was because he had truth on his side and often people fear the truth. I think the reason we are feared is because they find the truth we have unacceptable and are trying to do everything possible to prevent us from sharing it.
Also a side note about the ending where they are joking around. The Blaze staff isn't bigoted. One of the commentators,
Dave Rubin is openly gay. There may be others on staff behind the camera and Glen Beck has indicated that he works with people who are gay. Glen also had a
sit-down dinner with people off the street to discuss view points and one of the guests was FTM.
The YouTube copy of the report appears to be the full episode that I viewed on The Blaze though sometimes YouTube has edited posted material without informing the owner of the material.
