This post is for those that think there should be fewer police shootings. I can't agree more, I, as a former cop, would love to see the necessity of shooting someone become unnecessary.

The solution is quite simple as is the problem. If people wouldn't commit crimes there would be no necessity for intervention by a police officer.

If you want the police to remain out of your life, don't give them a reason to enter it. I don't know a single cop that enjoys apprehending criminals. It's dangerous, time consuming, and is a pain in the ass; paperwork, court appearances, interviewing witnesses, chasing down leads. I think you get the picture.

So I'll keep it simple: If you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime.

If you don't want to get shot by a cop, don't put yourself in a position where that may become necessary.

Ah, we now have "Saint George Floyd" recently canonized by the left wing commies. Let me see, a criminal, felon, ex con, drug abuser and who knows what else. He "Ain't' no saint nor is he a hero, not even close. Go look up his record, if it hasn't already been purged; he spent time in the slammer here in Texas.

Got up to P and see what has been happening. The condo collapse in Florida is a major tragedy, many innocent folks will never see their families again nor will their families see them. I feel sorry for all those involved.

I do not like high-rise buildings. Yes I have gone in them on business and have worked in them. I do not like living or working in them. I prefer to be no higher than the 2nd floor. In case of emergency, I may be able to jump out the window without getting killed. In the case of the Florida condo it was 20 stories high if my memory is correct, Even if you are on the bottom floor, your survival chances in the case of collapse are nil, Stay away, far away, from High Rise structures.

If you live in a one story home and you need to jump out of a window, you probably won't get hurt. Just remember, the higher up you are, the further you may have to fall and it's not the fall that causes the harm, it's the "Sudden Stop" at the end.

First off I think you all know I was in the US Navy for four years and worked for the US Navy as a civilian engineer. At the time my job and the project I was assigned to was highly classified. While on the ship we were free to discuss what we were doing amongst our peer groups as long as they had the same level clearance.

I spent 6.5 years working on this project, 2.5 years while in the Navy and 4 years as a civilian engineer. My first 1.5 years were spent in school/training.

Why did I do this, first and foremost I joined the Navy because I wanted to do something more with my life than what I had been doing up until that time and I felt it was my duty to serve in the military. To make a long story short I lucked into the program I was assigned to mainly because I was good at what I did (Electronics) and they figured out that I probably wouldn't do well in the regular Navy so they sent me to the "Not Real Navy." I'm glad and thankful they did as I got more from my service in the Navy than the Navy got from me. They got 8 years of my life, I got a Lifetime, which I am very Thankful and Grateful for. As an aside, that's the way it's supposed to work.

The 8 years I spent with the Navy was spent protecting OUR country from Communist countries, Russia and China and a few lesser obvious communist regimes. I'm proud of what we did as we helped keep the "Nuclear Genie" in the bottle. For this and other reasons I'm proud of my service and love my country and served it well.

I never thought I'd see the situation our country is currently facing. What I now see happening in OUR country is there are elements of our society attempting to destroy this country by dividing us. These folks are avowed Marxists, communists if you will; don't take my word for it, do a bit of research on the net and you will find some of them proudly proclaiming their Marxist training, ideology and their desire to destroy this country.

As for the oily-impricks, never watched them or cared about them.  Was in Japan for two or three and never went; did other more interesting things. If they went sans clothing, we'd get to know the contestants better ....... if we bothered to watch blurry images.

As for DC, they do impact our live negatively most of the time and in so doing cause me to waste my time commenting on those foul creeps. If my perceptions are correct, they are in self destruct mode . . . . hopefully!!
