I found the facebook group for my grammar school the other day (the school no longer exists but the church still does)... Someone had posted a picture of a stern looking old nun holding a ruler to which they added the caption:

"No one who went to Catholic school ...
... wants to arm teachers."

Another similar one had the caption:
"Kids today have no idea what it was like having a Nun walk past you with a ruler in hand!"

I just had to laugh... Some of the older nuns certainly had a mean streak and were into corporal punishment back then!

Unfortunately none of my classmates had posted there, though some who where there while I was (but were older and graduated sooner) did. I did not recognize those names but back then i only knew the kids in my own grade.

Forgot my time in Kindergarten during the 1945 - 1946 school year. My teacher was Mrs. Parrot (like the bird). She was nice but due to a health problem, of which I know not, she didn't finish the year. We got a no name remembered lady that finished the last few weeks of "Play School." I did like the school, "Jackson School" K-8 in Akron Ohio. It's gone now, destroyed by the school board to make room for some other monument to themselves. The Akron school system is a disaster as is the "Hole" city. Crime is rampant, just a shithole. A friend's son is an Akron fireman and he said they don't respond to calls in certain areas of the city without a police escort. Sad!!!

Eyeballs doing fine, went to the foot doc yesterday (07 Sep 22) to finish having my toenails removed. I find it difficult to cut them myself so I have resorted to having them removed. Minor procedure. Have three more to go. Not going to have them removed from the Great Toes (the 2 bigun's) as I can handle them. It's them there littlen's that are a pain to cut.

The day after I had my last eyeball rebuilt, I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I thought "Holy Shit" I aged 35 years overnight. It was the first time I had really seen myself in 20 years. So today it's off the Plastic Surgery center to see what they can do to repair all the damage my face has endured from over exposure to the big orange ball in the sky. Will see how that goes. Prolly going to cost enough to bankrupt the country; hell it's already bankrupt, they just aren't admitting it.

Well gotta get may ass in gear, have things to do this AM before I get ready for the Plastic Doc. It costs $100.00 just to talk to him. Everything seems to be a racket these days. Wish I knew how to "Do It Myself."

Saw the plastic doc. today and got my estimate. Wanna know how much? Take a guess.

The surgery will take about four hours sans anesthesia, just local. One of the reasons I elected to forego nose surgery is they use General Anesthesia (GA) to do that procedure. GA is dangerous for older patients. Some times those elderly patients never recover from GA. Happened to a friend of mine; he died a nasty death.

Still wondering how much it's going to cost to make me beautiful? Take a guess, doesn't cost you a dime. So whata ya say: $4K, $11K, $33K, $7K, $21K, $45K, $17K, $9K, $67K, $24K, None of the aforementioned?

I hope you are not an anti Capitalist. Without the desire to have something better this country would still be a shithole, which it is in most Blue/Dem Run states.

The answer is $21K. Have a few other things to do before I go that route. Lots to finish up here in the Dog/Guest House. The pups sure do like their fancy digs.

We bought two new TV's, a 65 and 75 incher. 65 for the guest room and a 75 for our living room. We have to get something out of our money, unlike the nothing we get for our money the Tin Pot Dictator Biden gives to the illegals.

Just think, were it not for Envoy and Greed, we'd still be watching 4 inch black and white tube TVs with a magnifying glass in front of the screen, if such a device would have ever been invented. Probably be sending/receiving Smoke-Mail instead of Email. Come to think of it, not a bad idea; sure would inhibit "Smoked spam."

Speaking of spam, I have decided to mark every piece of email I receive, from all these jerks that send me shit requesting donations to Joe Brandon's campaign, as SPAM. That way, my mail provider "should" stop sending me that crap. Will see how that works out by days end.

Guess I'll go over to the Dogs House and continue working on it. Still have lots of "Stuff" to unpack and find a place to store it.

Just think, if we didn't have Capitalism, we wouldn't have an illegal alien problem; they'd stay where they belong and surely wouldn't flee to the Communist/Socialist Paradises such as China, Venezuela, Russia, Argentina, Mexico, etc.; you get the idea.

Have you ever been to a city that was destroyed by Nuclear weapons? I have and it is one of the most beautiful and modern cities on this planet. It's a good form of Urban Renewal. The bad part is if you happen to be there when the Nuclear starts. Called "Luck of the Draw." Don't get caught with your pants down.

Today is my first visit to an orthopedic surgeon in Phoenix. Since this doc was not referred to me, I'll have to check him out as best I can. Need someone that knows his shit and is up on the latest replacement knees and surgical techniques.

Since I have to rise early I will exit for now.

Went to an orthopedic surgeon Monday 26 September to see about having my knees replaced, they are bone on bone. No cartilage remaining in my knees.

The doctor I saw was easy to get an appointment with and was trying to get me to commit to having him replace my knees in the next couple of weeks.

I didn't get a warm fuzzy talking with him so I decided to find another doctor.

The following day, Tuesday, I had an appointment with a dermatologist to remove a cancer from my face. Nothing new for me, the old sun worshiper is now paying the price for all that sun tanning.

I asked her if she knew a good orthopedic surgeon that does knees. She gave me the name and phone number of the Go To Knee Doctor here in Phoenix. Called his office yesterday and have the first appointment available 20 January 2023. He's a busy doctor.

I prefer seeing doctors that come highly recommended by folks in the know. The first doc I saw I found on the net. He just didn't impress me and actually gave me the urge to run out of his office as fast as possible. He was too eager to get me on the table. Think he's an old hack.

I'll be calling the new Doctor about once a week to see if there are any cancellations I can have to get this done earlier. We shall see.

Weather has been nice and warm though it is trending down a bit. After all it is Fall and winter is around the corner. Fortunately, winters are mild here.

You'd think these protesters are being denied food. Hells fire, they are already getting their food from welfare.

Hey asshole abortion protestors, Abortion has NOT BEEN BANNED by the Supreme Court. All they said was that Abortion is NOT in the Constitution and it is up to each state legislature to decide whether Abortion is allowed in that/their state. Protest accordingly.

You NEVER had a Constitutional Right to abortion. Back 50 years ago when Roe vs Wade was decided, it was decided in ERROR. All this Supreme Court did recently was correct an erroneous decision from an earlier Supreme court. That's part of their job.

If you brain dead ass hole bitches would exhibit self control and not fuck every Hairy Dick you come across, you wouldn't need birth control or abortions. And hey you fucking lazy men and your desire to populate the world with your progeny, knock off the Stud Routine. We don't need your offspring growing up as irresponsible as you are.

Today's subject, my knees.

Have a friend whose son is an executive with a company that works with Hospitals and doctors in the orthopedic world. He said I should have both knees done at the same time. So, when I visit the Doc's PA I'm going to broach the subject. If I can get them both done on the same table day, it should speed up my rehab and have me ready for my 65th HS reunion September 2023.

I'm hoping I can acquire another cancellation this week so as to really jump start the knee project. Quite frankly, they are getting "Worser" by the day. My knees have worn so much I am now "Knock Kneed;" when I try to stand like I did when I was in the Military, my knees touch each other which keeps my feet apart about 6 inches.

If I can get my first appointment this month and surgery by mid November, I should be in good shape by next September: Reunion time. Hard to wrap my mind around 65 years since high school. It's only time and many adventures, most good.

That's about it for this time. Back when I have time.

       All is well here. Took a job, at nemesis_[1] Amazon no less, to supplement SS. I am a walking dead "picker" (very weird) on their graveyard shift (6:30PM - 05:00AM Sun thru Weds). Been clearing approx $4,000/month high time to PAY STUFF OFF!

       Kids are doing well. Daughter (25) is an "Operations/Sales Manager" for a local, very upscale  Hunter Douglas blinds distributer and son (24) a construction/landscape supervisor for a local pool company, both making more than I ever did (a sure sign of these inflationary times?)

Grandkids are GREAT, count 5 with the oldest now 7.

Yeah, been awhile. Busy getting a lot of body work done. On the seventh of March I'm having a new hinge installed on the left side then 6 weeks later they are going to do the same for the right side. Rehab will total out to 12 weeks then I'm on my own. Once that's done I'm having a Zenker's Diverticulum repaired (look it up). I should have had the hinges replace about 4 or 5 years ago.

We're doing well, Dena works everyday, I go to doctors everyday. This getting old isn't what it has been cracked up to be. "Golden Years?" Golden my Ass, more like Rust Years.

Hoping to have all the repairs done before September so I can go to my 65th reunion. Most likely it'll be the last. We've had one every 5 years since graduation in 1958. It'll be the 13th. We did have one the year everyone turned 75, 2015. I didn't go.

We sure have a fucked up ass hole in the white house. Only thing he has ever accomplished is destroying this country. He's close to having the job done. I can't believe anyone believes he's doing a good job as prestdent.

We've been through worse shit and have survived, think we'll do it again. We need to do something about all the scum that keeps crossing our so-called boarder.

Well, I ain't going to fix it so I'll just bide my time.
