Image and avatar size guidelines
« on: May 16, 2020, 03:10:03 PM »
Howdy,

Would you be able to tell me the preferred size of avatar pictures and suggested max width of linked images? Do linked images over your allowed size automatically resize and if they do, what size is that?

Perspiring minds want to know.

Thanks,
--Elisabeth

Hi @Elisabeth,                        16 May 2020

I checked with Dena and here are the sizes:

Avatar - 200 X 200

Images - Max width 800
Max Size - 300KB total if attached.

If you link to the image it can be larger.

I'm going to leave an image here for you to see. It's  bit under 300 KB

If you double click the image a large version will appear.

If you have any issues please let us know.

Hope this helps; have been enjoying your posts; Thanks.

Best Always, Love

Christine

The Photo is of our 69 Dodge Hemi Daytona.

test test? My '71 Mustang but ain't gonna RACE YA! Any chance that has a "six-pack" (three oversized two-barrel carbs)?
(i notice after posting the displayed bb code gives the
opportunity to adjust "width/height" If ya's quote this
one can also make the img larger/smaller ;) )

ps: Christine's is an "attachment" mine is "a link")

Hi @Kiera,                        16 May 2020

Our super Bee has the 6-Pack. The Daytona has the 426 Hemi with 2 x 4 Barrel Carbs. She has been sitting in our garage here in Texas for the past 41 years. Wanna Buy it? It's For Sale and it's all matching numbers. It is the last unrestored 69 Hemi Daytona in the world and is mostly original. The photo is from 1972.

That's a beautiful Mustang you have there. Dena has a 96 GT and we have an 87 Mustang  LX Police Car with 000003.1 miles on the clock. Your Mustang looks better than new. Tell us about it. I'd hazard a guess that it has a Cleveland 351. Where was the photo taken? Thanks for showing us your beautiful Stang.

Best Always, Love

Christine
