Hi Folks,                  19 November 2021

Well, the Jury did it's job in Kenosha WI. They found Kyle Rittenhouse Not Guilty on all charges.

Looks like the rule of law isn't good enough for the Liberals, Progressives, Dems, Antifa, BLM, or more simply and correctly, the Communists.

The only thing they are interested in is Mob Rule, their MOB and now you're seeing it in Kenosha.

We have an Asshole for a president and his party that supports BLM and ANTIFA.

My first question is why are the blacks and Biden calling Kyle a white Supremacist when he shot three white rioters, two of which died? Kyle's white, so what's the deal? The reality is the left is determined to destroy our democracy, or what's left of it and then take over the country replacing our form of government with a totalitarian regime of their liking.

Haven't much time so I'm going to cut this short. Just start paying close attention to what is going on in this country. Most all the trouble and violence is in states run by the democrat party.

Take care folks, God Save our Country.

Best Always, Love

Top Pollsters: Republicans Should Beware Dividing Their Own House
( © James Larkin |
By Matt Towery with Robert Cahaly   |   Monday, 08 November 2021 10:10 AM

Abraham Lincoln said it best—a house divided against itself cannot stand. The Democrats proved that this past week with poor election results and a legislative logjam which was caused by warring wings of their party.

But Republicans need to understand that efforts to divide their own house could have equally devastating results.

As we watch the Democrat Party’s infighting create difficulties passing even bipartisan legislation with public support, there are actually Republican establishment elites who are trying to create the same type of environment in their party.

These Republicans simply cannot see past their personal angst for
Donald Trump and their desire to return things to “normal.”

What is their definition of normal?

Disinformation Inc.

"Liberal billionaires Reid Hoffman and George Soros are now funding the progressive political strategist Tara McGowan’s new effort to “counter disinformation.” The company is called Good Information Inc. One of Good Information’s projects is The Courier, which has neutral-sounding local newsrooms around the country, so readers might assume they are reading a new local newspaper when in fact it’s part of . . .  Good Information Inc. Not Orwellian at all"

Hi Folks,                 03 November 2021

Not going to spend a lot of time tonight on the elections; later today will be better. The results should be more clear by this evening and the sour grapes will have been displayed.

My little "Bed Bud" "Friday" pictured in my Avatar, had to go in for emergency surgery on the night of 12 October. His small intestine was blocked by an Acorn he managed to swallow. We are fortunate to have a very good 24 X 7 vet clinic about a mile down the road. Got him in, they took x-rays and did an ultra-sound of his abdomen. They found the Acorn and surgically removed it.

Friday spent 5 days in the hospital and has been home since the 18th. He is doing well and hopefully lost his appetite for Acorns.

We did get the Acorn, which we will have gold plated and mounted on a small pedestal.

His bill was rather large; he offered to get a job to pay us back. We told him all he needs to do is keep smiling (yes, he smiles) when he greets folks. He is worth every penny and more.

Take Care folks, back later today.

Best Always, Love

Hi Folks,                 24 October 2021

I'm sure we all know of the backlog of goods stacked on container ships in LA harbor and the lack of trucks and drivers to haul/deliver it to various businesses in the remaining 47 states. Before you go bonkers on the 47 states, California, Hawaii, and Alaska were not included.

There are plenty trucks ready and able to haul goods and supplies to the rest of the country, BUT, there's a Man Made Problem and it's smack dab in California and caused by California's politicians. They won't allow trucks into LA that are legal in the rest of the country, including the rest of California. Trucks entering LA must be new and able to meet LA's EPA rules, which are the most stringent in the US. Essentially, the politicians in LA and California are holding the rest of the country hostage. Thank our crazy liberal democrats in that state.

Here's another thing to think about: We are having shortages throughout the country because the things we want to buy are on ships anchored in the LA harbor rather than on store shelves.

Just maybe, we need to start producing the stuff sitting in those containers right here in the US rather than importing it from CHINA. We have people in this country that are able to work but  won't work because the Guberment is encouraging them NOT TO WORK with extra unemployment benefits. This is crazy and destructive, which is exactly what the democrat party wants. They want to destroy this country and turn it into a Communist Paradise. Show me where that has been successful. Never has and never will be.

Gotta get back to packing and moving.

Take Care, Best Always

Sorry I didn't use my more colorful language in this post. Hope I haven't offended or disappointed anyone.
Staff Political Blog / 2021 October 24, The truth about who isn't paying taxes
« Last post by Dena on October 24, 2021, 08:04:32 AM »
Hmm, I was thinking again as the result of a newspaper editorial and thought it might make an interesting post. Are you aware that the top 50% of the tax payers pay 97% of the taxes in this country? I did a little google search and came up with this table.

I am not complaining because I understood what I was doing when I started it. My rate of pay is fairly low but it's sufficient for me to live off. The goal was to reach my Social Security age of 70 which I did this year. I only have the standard deduction but I am still at the 13% tax rate which is the average for all tax payers. That will change next year as I receive a full year of Social Security and it will change again when I have to start withdrawals from my IRA. I really didn't expect to be in the top 50% of taxpayers while in working retirement.

All this talk of taxing the rich and the rich avoiding taxes isn't based on reality. The rich are paying more than their fair share but they are an easy target because they are small in number.

I am sure others will disagree with this but the fairest tax system is a flat rate system where everybody is taxed at the same rate. This is what the founders intended because it prevents taking from the rich to give to the poor. Yes you know the name for our current tax system and it's Marxism. It was started by the progressives who were schooled in German Marxism during the late 1800s. They couldn't implement it because the constitution prohibits an unbalanced tax system so they amended the constitution in 1913 with the 16th amendment to allow this. The key words are "without apportionment" and "without regard to any census or enumeration".

Flat rate taxes have been suggested several times in the past but they never got beyond the discussion stage. This is probably because the voters would protest higher taxes. How much higher would they have to be to maintain the same amount of income? As the chart says, 13.3%. I wouldn't object to that tax rate because I am already paying it and I wouldn't object to paying a bit more if needed. I will be paying more in the future but I will be receiving more income.

It's also interesting to note that the chart shows a total tax income of 1.5 trillion dollars. Democrats currently want to push through a 3.5 trillion dollar spending plan but costs range from 1.5 trillion to 6 trillion depending on who's plan you're talking about. New programs are budgeted for 10 years so what they are really talking about would be a 350 billion dollar a year spending plan. To make the plan sound better, they are talking about only funding it for 5 years however it's still going to cost 350 billion a year but they can call it a 1.75 trillion dollar spending plan. Either way, that is a lot of money.

The truth is the government spends money on many things that it shouldn't. If the government controlled its spending, there would be enough money to pay down the national debt and after that, the people would have a lower tax rate. Unfortunately the government likes to use tax money to buy votes so they have little incentive to cut back on their spending. While the Democrats are the biggest spenders, the Republicans are not without blame. Either they go along with the Democrats or they have their own priorities.

We probably need to throw nearly all of them out of office and start fresh with people who don't care for reelection. They would have the courage to do what should have been done years ago.

It looks like the solution to our problems is fairly easy on paper. The reality is to do it you need to convince a large number of voters that increasing their taxes is a good idea. Probably the real solution would be to only allow those who support themselves or are supported by Social Security in retirement to vote. Having voters who are capable of working but have found a way for government to support them without work is insanity because they will always vote for more of the same.
